"The Valley of Tantrums"
Oliver and Lyrkan arrive in a valley where children are shouting, stomping, and throwing tantrums. Oliver feels surprised and a little uneasy, but Lyrkan explains that anger is a natural emotion—it shows us that something matters to us. The problem isn’t the anger itself, but how we express it.
To help, Lyrkan teaches Oliver a calming technique called dragon breathing: taking deep breaths in and out, slowly, like a dragon releasing fire. Oliver tries it and realises that the storm inside him begins to settle. He learns that anger can be managed with patience and awareness, instead of hurting others or himself.
By the end of the chapter, Oliver understands that anger is not bad—it’s a signal. With the right tools, like dragon breathing, he can guide his emotions instead of being controlled by them.
